Cisco VPN Error - The VPN Service is no - Cisco Community
Hello all. I recently downloaded the VPN client to connect to my school's Unix servers. The first time I downloaded it, it worked just fine. But now for some reason, the service will not start at all. When I go to start>programs>Cisco Systems>VPN client, it seems to load, but after about a minut windows - The Cisco VPN Service has not been started Stop the Internet Connection Sharing service and change its startup type to "manual" Copy your PCF profiles to the "Profiles" folder of the Cisco VPN Client installation, e.g.: C:\Program Files (x86)\Cisco Systems\VPN Client\Profiles; Rename the profile(s) you intend to use to have a simple name (no spaces, etc), something like rwc.pcf Error 56: The Cisco Systems, Inc. Manually starting the Cisco VPN service solves the issue, but any time I reboot the laptop the issue returns. I have reinstalled the software but no success. Dec 18, 2015 · So naturally I went to Administrative tools > Services and tried to start Cisco VPN service, but whenever i tried I got: service on local computer started and stopped.some services stop automatically if not in use by other services or programs .
